E l Reial Club Nàutic Port de Pollença está situado al Norte de la Isla de Mallorca (España), en el Mar Mediterráneo, a 56 km. de la capital, Palma de Mallorca, y a 60 km. de su Aeropuerto.
Los accesos por mar desde el continente son a través de líneas regulares desde Valencia y Barcelona.
The Port de Pollença Royal Nautical Club is situated in the north of the island of Mallorca (Spain) in the Mediterranean Sea, 56 km from the capital, Palma de Mallorca, and some 60km from its airport.
Access by sea from the continent is by regular lines from Valencia and Barcelona.
La competición del IX Campeonato del Mundo Big Game-Trolling se disputará del 15 al 20 de septiembre de 2002, organizado por el Reial Club Nàutic Port de Pollença y supervisado por la Federation International de Pêche sur Mer, la Federación Española de Pesca y Casting y la Federació Balear de Pesca i Casting.
The IX Big Game-Trolling World Championship competition will take place from September 15 to 20, 2002. It is organised by the Port de Pollença Royal Nautical Club and supervised by the International Sea Fishing Federation (FIPSM); the Spanish Fishing and Casting Federation (FEPyC) and the Balearic Fishing and Casting Federation.
E l Reial Club Nàutic Port de Pollença ha organizado ocho ediciones consecutivas del Open de Baleares de Pesca de Altura, competición que en el 2002 se disputará inmediatamente antes del Campeonato del Mundo.

Asimismo el RCNPP organizó con la FEPyC los Campeonato de España 1999 en las modalidades de Curricán y Brumeo.
